As some of you may have seen, my little boy turned 4 on Monday. We’ve been basically celebrating all month. We had a special Disney trip planned for him and we had a blast, despite both kids and myself being sick on some of the days. On Sunday, we had a “low key” birthday party for him with our closest family and friends. I would have skipped on the party this year but Matthew wanted to make sure he had his cake, balloons, bounce house and face painter… pffft! These kids these days.
This party wasn’t as elaborate as my daughter’s first birthday, nor as much work (thank God!) but I still had a great time and so did my son, which is what was most important to my hubby and me.
He’s had an obsession with Spider Man this year so it was only appropriate that his party was Spider Man-themed.
I’ve been trying to make an effort to pick up the camera and capture at lease a few moments during my personal parties or outings but it’s not always so easy with two kids and trying to enjoy what’s happening. However, I’m very happy I did capture some of these moments to look back on in the future. 🙂

Isn’t the view in my backyard just beautiful???? Pfft!
I just loved how well executed and tasty the cake was from Rock Star Pastries!
And the cookies!
This is about as crazy as my decorating was this year.
Isn’t my little stud muffing the cutest? I know, I’m biased 😉
He LOVES face painting! Look at that focus! LOL
This was his “Mom, stop taking pictures” face.
The face painter was just awesome! The kids loved her and were anxiously waiting in line for her.
Yay! A family pic of the four of us. I love my little family! <3
I love my baby daddy 😉
She was very excited to get candy in her bag.
Seriously, thank you to all those that came! <3
You can imagine how filthy my little guy was so we made sure he showered before opening presents. He was SUPER anxious to do this LOL
I think he liked it, right?
Happy Birthday my monkey!
