Originally, my Mother’s Day Minis were scheduled for a week before Mother’s Day. Everything was ready to go and then 60% chance of rain happened. I had to reschedule them for another date and because of my scheduling, June 1st was the first available date. Better late than never, right?
Well the early hours of June 1st were spent under water. I was determined to get these done which for the most part I did. However, the last two sessions of the date couldn’t be completed because just as I was finishing my 9th session for the day, it started to POUR! I had to run and get all of my equipment, lighting and rentals into the car. What a fun adventure!
I wanted to keep this year’s mini simple. I wanted to concentrate on the families, mommies and kiddos and I think that’s exactly what I accomplished 🙂 I hope the families enjoy these! <3
The day started with Dominic who is going to be a big brother to a little sister in the fall. He wasn’t too fond of the camera at first but we just let him explore and got what we needed 🙂 I can’t wait to capture his baby sister’s millstones just like I did for him!
I may be slightly obsessed with these boys! I mean how cute are they? They look like adorable Abercrombie models and have such fun and spunky personalities. I use to work with mommy many moons back and both she and dad are such wonderful and sweet people.
Apparently, he wanted to model during his session <3
Oh, Maddison! Thank you for being the happiest baby ever! You were such a delight to photograph and laugh with and so were your parents! <3
If I were her parents, this “duck face” one would be hung up large in the house LOL How stinkin’ CUTE! What a character!
This little fella wasn’t too sure about this whole “let’s take pictures” business but he did just great with mommy!
Baby Olivia is always such a treat! She has such full-of-happiness smiles and then some awesome serious looks. Those eyes make anyone melt!
Apart from celebrating Mother’s Day, this handsome stud was celebrating his 5th birthday so we had to incorporate that into the session. I’m absolutely in love with his comb over and slick style! I’m thinking a future heart breaker is in the making.
Jeremiah has the best smile ever! He makes sure to showcase those pearly whites when he smiles and he’s sooooo happy and so is his mommy. Her friend and her son joined in the session as well and both boys were a blast!
Poor Natalia! She arrived and noticed one of the parties at the park had a Mickey bounce house and wanted to visit it! All of these smiles are her hoping to attend it after. I’m hoping she got a big present at the end because she did an excellent job!
The McFadden family was my last session of the day but I didn’t know it yet. The princess is serious but then smiles oh-so-cutely, and the little stud wasn’t happy about taking photos but we worked him until we got him to smile (the cookie and his godmother might have helped) 😉
Right after the picture above, I was doing my “what to expect” speech and it started to POUR!!!
I hope everyone enjoyed seeing these! Thank you again to the amazing families that endured the heat, bugs, and rain! You guys are all amazing and I hope you treasure these for your entire lives.
