Are you excited? I’m coming to you today with another post in the same day! YAY! 😉
This post is a personal one as I’m sharing photos of two of my children’s birthday party from last month. My youngest turned 1 and my oldest 6 in March so I did a joint birthday party this year since my youngest won’t get mad. I thought it would be impossible to combine two opposite themes but hey, it worked and it looked cute together.
My son really wanted a Ninja Turtles party and I wanted an Ice Cream themed party for Khloe because she LOVES ice cream. Plus, it’s super adorable.
We had the party at the downstairs hall at Westland Gardens Park in Hialeah Gardens. If you haven’t heard of this place, please look it up. It’s awesome and INDOORS! I also worked with two amazing vendors. The SweetHouse Desserts did the adorable cakes, cake pops, and cupcakes. Everything was not only beautiful but delish! The always reliable FourJBouncer rented me the linens and brought the face painter and Ninja Turtle.
When I shoot my own events, I’m lazy! I don’t tend to bring any lighting other than a flash on camera and I’m not as detailed at changing settings. I want to enjoy the party and share in the memories as much as possible. Sometimes I also hand the camera over to whoever is next to me just to be in some shots. Keep in mind these images aren’t perfect (to my photographer eyes) but I’m so happy to have taken them and am thankful to be able to share them with you all. So, here we go!
